(Fallbrook, California) — The Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) has suspended Kenneth Goldman of Needham, Massachusetts (PNG member #252) for actions which PNG has determined to be a breach of the organization’s By-Laws.

“On October 24, 2006, the PNG Board of Directors voted to ratify the Executive Director’s suspension of Kenneth Goldman from membership for a period of six months, retroactive to October 6, 2006. The basis for the suspension was Goldman’s failure to comply with a Board directive in connection with arbitration proceedings,” said Robert Brueggeman, PNG Executive Director.

Founded in 1955, the PNG is a nonprofit organization composed of the nation’s top rare coin and paper money dealers. PNG member-dealers must adhere to a strict Code of Ethics in the buying and selling of numismatic merchandise, and must agree to binding arbitration to settle disputes involving numismatic transactions.
