2002 United States Military Academy Bicentennial Commemorative Coin

The U.S. Military Academy Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollar was
authorized by Public Law 103-328 dated September 29, 1994, and produced to
assist the Association of Graduates' efforts to provide direct support to the
academic, military, physical, moral, and ethical development programs of the
Corps of Cadets, United States Military Academy.
The design of the coin is emblematic of the United States Military Academy
and its motto "Duty, Honor, Country."
Issuance of the U.S. Military Academy Bicentennial Commemorative Silver
Dollar will begin in March 2002.
2003 First Flight Commemorative Coins
Authorized by Public Law 105-124, the Mint will produce gold, silver, and
clad commemorative coins as part of the centennial celebration of Orville and
Wilbur Wright's historic flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, on December 17,
1903.
The design of the coins shall be emblematic of this historic flight and will
be made in both proof and uncirculated condition.
2004 Thomas Alva Edison Commemorative Coin
Authorized by Public Law 105-331 dated October 31, 1998, the Thomas Alva
Edison Commemorative Silver Dollar will be produced in commemoration of Thomas
Alva Edison and the 125th anniversary of Edison's invention of the light bulb.
The design of the coin shall be emblematic of the light bulb and the many
inventions made by Thomas A. Edison throughout his prolific life.
2004 Lewis and Clark Expedition Commemorative Coin
Public Law 106-126 authorizes the minting of a silver dollar to commemorate
the bicentennial of the expedition of Lewis and Clark.
Coins produced under this act shall be emblematic of the expedition of Lewis
and Clark.
