What: Reporters are invited to a news conference, held by United States Mint Director Ed Moy and Metro’s Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Chief Financial Officer Carol Kissal, to announce a new $1 coin campaign.  The news conference will take place at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, December 22, at the Metro Center Station in Washington, D.C.

Metro operates the second largest subway system and the fifth largest bus network in the United States.  Currently, there are 86 Metrorail stations operating within a 106.3-mile network.
